As this blog is just beginning, I'd thought I shout out a friendly hello to anyone who might be interested in viewing my creations and listening to my rants. I'm just sittin' around sewing today and enjoying the crazy beautiful weather!! It's warm and bright and I'm surrounded by beautiful people playing beautiful music! It just makes me want to sew more beautiful things!!
I've just acquired myself a beautiful little floor loom and will be making cozy, comfy blankets for sale just in time for the upcoming winter months. Wool and cotton are my personal favorites. I'm also going to be making a couple of baby slings to see how that works out - I'm certainly making one when I have children! I personally love blankets all year round though - cold winter chills, spring breezes, cool summer nights, and my favorite: colorfully flirty fall evenings. Give me blankets blankets and MORE BLANKETS!!!! I'm also going to be making hand woven cushion covers, because if there's one thing I like just as much as blankets, it's pillows. I personally have 4 regular sized pillows plus one giant body pillow on my bed alone :)
